Marvin Yorke, BA (Hons), CPA, FCCA, is the Founder and Managing Director of MYPC and a recognised IFRS 17 subject-matter expert with more than two decades of experience in assurance, financial reporting and insurance advisory. A proud native of St. Lucia now based in Ontario, Canada, he has built a career spanning the Caribbean, North America and Europe, helping insurers navigate complex regulatory change with clarity and precision.

A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, Marvin specialises in demystifying IFRS reporting for insurers. Since 2018 he has delivered hands-on IFRS 17 advisory, technical training and implementation support to insurers across multiple jurisdictions, earning a reputation for turning regulatory challenges into strategic opportunities. His work blends deep technical expertise with a practical, empathetic approach that resonates with finance teams, actuaries and executive leaders alike.

Beyond his consulting practice, Marvin serves as a Board Member and Treasurer at the Durham Community Health Centre in Ontario, where he applies his financial leadership to advance equitable, community-driven healthcare. His career is grounded in a belief that numbers do more than report: they reveal, inspire and drive meaningful transformation.
