Marvin Yorke, BA(Hon), CPA, FCCA
Marvin Yorke, BA (Hon), CPA, FCCA, is the Founder of MYPC and a recognized IFRS 17 subject matter expert with more than two decades of experience in assurance, financial reporting, and insurance advisory. A proud native of St. Lucia now based in Ontario, Canada, Marvin has built a career spanning the Caribbean, North America, and Europe—helping insurers navigate complex regulatory change with clarity, precision, and confidence.
A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant, Marvin specializes in demystifying IFRS reporting for insurers. Since 2018, he has delivered hands-on IFRS 17 advisory, technical training, and implementation support to insurers across multiple jurisdictions, earning a reputation for turning regulatory challenges into strategic opportunities. His work blends deep technical expertise with a practical, empathetic approach that resonates with finance teams, actuaries, and executive leaders alike.
Beyond his consulting practice, Marvin serves as a Board Member and Treasurer at the Durham Community Health Centre, in Canada where he applies his financial leadership to advance equitable, community-driven healthcare. His career is grounded in a belief that numbers do more than report—they reveal, inspire, and drive meaningful transformation.
